Stress causes many imbalances and health problems. Arrowhead Massage Therapy offers a preventative/holistic approach to help deal with your stresses. These include massage, herbs & vitamins, energy work, and genuine TLC. Discover how it feels to be relaxed and on the Road to Wellville.
We opened our doors in the fall of 2005. We have staffed our spacious, four treatment room facility with experienced Licensed Massage Therapists, who are able to provide a variety of techniques. These techniques include Swedish (a cleansing and relaxing massage), Cranio-sacral, Reiki, Neuormuscular Techniques (NMT), Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue (a more vigorous method to relax tight muscles), Hot Stone, Medical, Sports, Soft Tissue, Chair Massage (in your office or at any gathering), Prenatal, Lymph Drainage, Shiatsu and Acupressure. We are Bureau of Workers Compensation Certified, and we are working with the Veterans' Administration to assist our disabled veterans.
We also offer on-site Chair Massages, and Fitness Training is available.
Meet our Therapists
Mary Ann McGill
Mary Ann McGill, LMT, Reiki Master, is the Owner/Director of Arrowhead Massage Therapy. Graduating from Healing Arts Institute in Perrysburg, Ohio in 2001, she established a thriving business out of her home for 4 years, while also working one day each week at the Center for Sacred Living in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In the fall of 2005 she decided to open Arrowhead Massage Therapy, using her knowledge and experience to assist other Licensed Massage Therapists build their practices, in addition to being able to help even more clients discover the many benefits of massage therapy. Although Mary Ann continues to see the client-base she established out of her home, in addition to new Reiki and De-Grief clients, she is currently not taking new massage clients. She periodically, along with Wendy DeBord, Reiki Master, teaches Reiki. She would like to extend a warm welcome to Arrowhead Massage Therapy!Mary Ann is currently not accepting new clients.
Christa Blanton
Christa has been a practicing massage therapist for 3 years and obtained her training from Stautzenberger College of Massotherapy. Prior to working in massage, Christa worked in the nursing field for over 10 years. Her massage training and experience involve sports massage, relaxation, hot stone massage, deep tissue and she is certified in medical massage and workers' compensation. Using her nursing knowledge with her massage experience, Christa tries to offer each client a unique and balanced massage for both mind and body.Christa is available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Gabe DeBord
Gabe graduated from the Healing Arts Institute in 2000. His schooling focused on traditional Swedish massage, but he has been trained in Myofascial Release, Cranio-sacral Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Neuromuscular Treatment, Sports Massage, Repetitive Use Injury Massage, Workers Comp. Certified and various forms of energy work including being a Reiki Master. He has also trained in Aromatherapy Massage, and Raindrop Therapy, which incorporate the powerful qualities of essential oils. He is now an Assistant Physical Therapist.Gabe is available for appointments every other weekend.
Kevin Moore
Kevin is a 2008 graduate of Stautzenberger College of Massaotherapy. Before becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist he worked in the printing industry for years, before being down-sized. He took this opportunity to pursue massage therapy. One of the most common questions asked: "Why massage therapy?" He believes this profession allows for great connectivity with people and allows him to provide relief from pain, tension, anxiety...all through the therapeutic touch. Trained in the modalities of Swedish (Relaxation), Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, Chair Massage, Sports Massage, plus incorporating new stretching techniques allow him to give the personalized massage you deserve.Kevin is available Monday - Saturday, including evenings.
Renee Reaume
Renee graduated from the Healing Arts Institute in 2006. She became a massage therapist primarily because she wanted a way to help heal people by practicing in the medical field without becoming a doctor. She also wanted to work in a relaxed and enjoyable environment where her clients are not only happy to see her, but also happy when they leave. She practices Repetitive Use Injury Massage, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Pre-natal, Medical Massage and she is Workers Comp. Certified.Renee is generally available Monday - Friday until 5:30, and varying availability on the Weekends.
Heather Savage
Heather graduated from Healing Arts Institute in October 2001. She began her career in a chiropractic office, where she saw first-hand the therapeutic benefits of massage therapy while gaining valuable experience. She brings with her a top notch education and an incredible healing touch. Heather hopes to eventually provide therapeutic massage to children in Pediatric ICU. She had the opportunity to help a friend's little sister before she succumbed to Cystic Fibrosis recently, and would like the opportunity to make a difference for other children. In the meantime, clients of all ages rave about her massages!Heather is available by appointment Mondays & Wednesdays (all day), and Thursday mornings.
Elyssa Skiver
Ellie has a passion for her work, and for helping people. She has found Massage Therapy to be a perfect way to combine these passions, and to provide relief and healing to the Mind, Body and Spirit. Ellie is a graduate of the Northwest Academy of Massotherapy in Maumee, Ohio. She practices the modalities of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Chair Massage, TMJD (clenching jaw), Pre-natal, Infant, Post-partum and she is Worker's Comp. certified .Call for her availability.
Brenda Whetro
Brenda has been with Arrowhead Massage Therapy since early 2007 after graduating from the Northwest Academy of Massotherapy. Since that time, she has continued her education and by becoming a Certified Lypossage Practitioner (an 18-visit-body contouring modality). Her massage training and experience include Swedish (Relaxation or Deep Tissue), Chair Massage, Lymph Drainage Therapy (Upledger Method), Medical Massage, and now also a Reiki Master. Brenda is an embodiment of continuing education. She is always researching and learning new techniques and specialty massages to make your massage experience with her unique and personal.Brenda is available by appointment Monday through Friday and most Saturdays. 19 February 2010
